(Arch) Diocesan Contributions

Ninety-five percent of all donations to the National Religious Retirement Office benefit elderly and frail religious. Only five percent is spent on administration and fundraising. The American Institute of Philanthropy suggests that up to 40 percent of donations can be spent on general administration and fundraising. Grants are awarded to the motherhouse or administrative headquarters of a religious community. Consequently, though your diocese may have benefited from the ministry of religious women and men who taught, provided health care or other services, grants will only be awarded in your diocese if a religious community is headquartered there. Please be assured that the sisters, brothers, and religious order priests who ministered in your diocese benefit when you support the Retirement Fund for Religious appeal.

Listed below are (arch) dioceses that participated in the 2007 parish-based appeal for Retirement Fund for Religious and the amounts they submitted.
